Your Culture. Your Stories. Your Angle.
Apna Angle is the British South Asian multimedia magazine telling the stories that matter — from the communities that live them.
Why We Exist
For too long, British South Asian communities have been spoken about rather than spoken to. We built Apna Angle to change that. We are a magazine made by and for the British South Asian community — covering news, music, film, fashion, and food with the depth, nuance, and cultural fluency our stories deserve.
We believe representation isn't just about seeing faces that look like yours. It's about having your experiences, your humour, your contradictions, and your ambitions reflected back at you with honesty and care. That's what we're here to do.
Authenticity
We tell stories from the inside. Our writers, editors, and contributors are part of the communities we cover.
Plurality
British South Asian is not a monolith. We celebrate the full spectrum — Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, and everything in between.
Ambition
We hold ourselves to the highest editorial standards. Our community deserves nothing less.
Joy
We cover the hard stuff. But we also celebrate the music, the food, the fashion, and the culture that makes our community extraordinary.
